About SESS:

The Southeastern Seaboard Emergency Nursing Symposium (SESS) is one of the best-known national emergency nursing conferences held yearly. The conference is the creation of Andrea Novak (NC) and Cathy Fox (VA). Since 2000, SESS has grown to a participant size of approximately 300 emergency nurses from across the United States. SESS is also the only nationally known emergency nursing conference with a specific forensic track, offering three tracks in all: Leadership, Clinical Issues, and Forensics. The SESS planning committee won the 2007 ENA Team Achievement Award for their ongoing dedication to this conference and emergency nursing.
