Topic: AI in Nursing: Innovation, Care, and Education for Health Equity in Hispanic Communities.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming healthcare, but how can it be leveraged to advance health equity for Hispanic communities? In this session, we will explore the role of generative AI in nursing and its potential to address key challenges in Hispanic healthcare. We will examine how AI can help break down language barriers, enhance clinical decision-making, and improve learning experiences for nurses and students. While AI presents exciting opportunities, it also raises ethical concerns, particularly regarding bias, misinformation, and its impact on immigrant and underserved populations. Through real-world examples and a live demonstration, we will consider how AI can elevate innovation, care, and education to foster a more equitable future for Hispanic communities.
