Relaying the message from  AORN Award Committee 

The deadline for the AORN awards is fast approaching! Please consider nominating yourself or a peer.

There are multiple awards from the award for Excellence in Periop Nursing, Jerry G. Peers award, Outstanding Achievement in Mentorship for both leadership and periop. We have new awards such as the Barba Edwards Innovation Award which recognizes periop nurses who are change agents and drive innovation whether large or small, and who help to improve patient care and enhance nursing practices. We also have the Edith Hall Rising star award for nurses with less then 5 years of periop practice. There are many more awards related to research, practice, and leadership.

Please consider nominating that individual that shines at your work place.
Nominees must be a current member of AORN and awards will be handed out at the 2026 Expo in New Orleans.
Deadline for submissions is 9/30/25.
