Save the date: CIC AACN will be having a dinner meeting on November 10, 2025. Final arrangements are pending. Please check your emails regularly for nursing network registration information. Our charity for the month will be Morning Light House, formerly known as Abbie Hunt Bryce Hospice Home.

Save the Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025! 

        Join us in making a difference! The Central Indiana Chapter of American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) is hosting a luncheon at the “Morning Light Home “  formerly “Abbie Hunt Bryce” on Saturday, November 22, 2025. We warmly invite AACN members and non-members to participate in this uplifting event. 

        CIC AACN Board members and volunteers will come together to prepare and serve a meal for residents and staff at the hospice. Please arrive by 11 am to lend a hand with meal preparation; serving will begin at 12 noon. 

          To participate, kindly contact Clara at 765-265-6965. Your support will help bring joy and compassion to those in need, especially during the holiday season!

         We last sponsored this event back in April 2024, and it was such a heartwarming experience to meet the residents, see their precious smiles, hear their laughter, and interact with the amazingly dedicated staff! It’s an experience that you won’t forget!

         

In addition, CIC AACN will be taking up monetary donations via cash and Venmo/Zelle at our November 10, 2025 dinner meeting. Please follow us here and on nursing network for more details! 

More information about this wonderful program: 

          Operated by the nonprofit organization “Morning Light” , the Morning Light Home opened in 2004 and has been a loving home for over 900 Hoosiers to date. As a free home for people receiving hospice care, they serve Central Indiana residents who are terminally ill and in financial need. This organization partners with the residents’ hospice providers/nursing agencies to provide comfortable end-of-life care for people of all backgrounds.
