My name is Leigh Edwards, and I am a registered nurse in KY and doctoral candidate in the distance education program at University of Northern Colorado School of Nursing. I am recruiting participants for my dissertation study, Clinical Nurse Educators’ Perceptions of Psychological Safety in Workplace Learning. The purpose of my study is to explore clinical nurse educators’ understanding of and experiences with psychological safety during clinical workplace learning. Psychological safety is a critical component for learning and functioning as a member of the workplace. While the concept has been studied extensively in academic education, to date no study has explored the phenomenon specifically with nurse educators in the workplace setting.

I am seeking clinical nurse educators willing to complete a brief online knowledge assessment that will take approximately 15 minutes. Everyone who completes the assessment will be eligible to opt into a drawing for a $50 Visa gift card. At the conclusion of the assessment, you will also have the option to participate in a brief follow-up interview with me to gain additional insight into the answers you provided. The optional virtual interview will last approximately 20-30 minutes, and you will be eligible to receive a $10 Visa gift card as a token of appreciation for your time.
