Monthly Board Member Spotlight  begins with Kimberly Blanton as KONL initiates monthly recognition of its Board members.

From 2024–2025, Dr. Blanton served as the Bluegrass District Director for the Kentucky Organization of Nurse Leaders (KONL). In this role, she expanded professional development opportunities for nurse leaders by creating avenues to learn from executive leaders across diverse industries. Her work emphasized innovative thinking, cross-sector leadership growth, and strengthening the leadership pipeline for the region’s nursing community.
