ACTION ALERT

The Senate will be voting on their version of "No Child Left Behind" otherwise known as the "Every Child Achieves Act," S 1177, as early as tomorrow. Additionally, Senator Jon Tester, will be filing an amendment that would provide grants to school districts for school nurses in Title I or high poverty areas. NASN worked with Senator Tester to develop amendment language (Amendment # 2226).
