Founder’s Day Message
Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated will celebrate 83 years of 'Service for Humanity' on Friday, October l6, 2015 at the Providence Medical Center in Washington DC.
Dr. Elcedo L. Bradley, the National President along with members of the National Board, several Past National Presidents, and Sorority members from Alpha, Gamma, and Lambda Phi Chapters will celebrate this momentous occasion in Washington, DC and in all chapters everywhere.
Organized in l932 by Founder Ailene C. Ewell and eleven other exceptional nurses at Freeman Hospital whidt is now the Howard University Medical Center, Chi Eta Phi
Sorority, Incorporated continues to fulfill its original mission of committed service currently in a Global Society, through its ongoing activities to actualize quality population health for all citizens in the United States, educating and empowering residents to achieve prevention and wellness, mentoring the next generation of nurses and advocacy tor the elimination of Healthcare Disparities.
It is with honor that we will celebrate the 83rd year of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated in Washington, DC, the birthplace of our great Sorority.
