Fran Watson, (Greater Johnstown Chapter member and the nurse manager of the intensive care unit at MMC), has been recognized by the American Association of Critical Care nurses (AACN) for her 40 year certification as a (Critical Care RN) CCRN nurse. Additionally, Fran is one of the 16 original certified nurses in critical care nationally whom still hold their credentials. Fran was instrumental in establishing a local and active AACN chapter. Fran's continued dedication to certification demonstrates her commitment to her patients, her colleagues, the nursing profession, and epitomizes the 2016-2017 presidential theme - It Matters!
