Mid-Maryland chapter members staffed one of the water stations at the Frederick Women's Distance Festival on August 13, 2016. The proceeds from the event supported the Women's Giving Circle of Frederick County which provides programs that enable and empower women in challenging situations to improve the quality of their lives and the lives of those for whom they are responsible. We wore our new t-shirts stating boldly, "We are nurses...and It Matters!
