CDC invites you to join in a FREE upcoming webinar hosted in collaboration with the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) as part of the joint Outbreak Response Training Program (ORTP).

This webinar is the second within the Effective Communication Webinar Series, training hospital epidemiologists in the interpersonal skills important in an outbreak situation, and will include a discussion on the following:

  • Resource management
  • Priority setting during infectious-disease outbreaks
  • Information on identifying stakeholders who should be involved in epidemic preparedness, recognizing areas of limited resources, and anticipating needs in times of crisis
  • Establishing decision-making frameworks when faced with limited resources
