Looking for a CHPNA to participate on National Committee
HPCC (Hospice & Palliative Credentialing Center) is in the midst of recruiting members for open positions on some of our exam development committees (EDCs). There are open positions on the Certified Hospice and Palliative Nursing Assistant (CHPNA) EDC. We try to have diversity on the EDCs in terms of many factors such as, practice setting, geographic location, years of experience as a practitioner, years of experience in hospice and palliative care and years certified.
We are looking for a representative from the South Central area so I thought of Texas. If you know of CHPNAs in your area that you would recommend for the CHPNA EDC, please contact Sandra Shafer at sandralees@gohpcc.org.
The basic requirements are CHPNA certification of course, membership in HPNA and good clinical skills. If you could suggest a name(s), I will explore and follow up.
