Professional Achievements:
I graduated from Montgomery College in Silver Spring Maryland with an AA degree in nursing in 2001. I started my career at John Hopkins Medical Center in their Cardiac surgery intensive care unit and work there for 3 years. In 2004 I moved to Arizona and became a CVICU/ICU traveler. I worked at quite a few hospitals in the the critical care setting throughout the East Valley in Arizona. I obtained my BSN in 2014 and my MSN in nursing education in 2016. I obtained my CCRN in 2017. I am currently the RN Manager in the CVICU at Banner Heart Hospital and adjunct clinical faculty at Mesa Community College. I enjoy teaching , not just students but also novice nurses new to the CVICU setting. I feel that teaching and working in the CVICU is a good balance for me.
