Linda Paradiso DNP, RN, NPP, NEA-BC, is a board-certified Nurse Executive with a solid record of achievement directing patient care services through the continuum.  She has over forty years of psychiatric nursing and leadership experience and has been responsible for daily and strategic clinical operations for large nursing programs in several organizations.  As an essential member of the leadership team she has maintained cohesive and collaborative inter-disciplinary relationships in order to assure quality and commitment to organizational goals, while ensuring a Just Culture.  She is the recipient of the 2017 DNP Advocacy Award - Old Dominion University and the 2008 Outstanding Contribution to Professional Nursing Award – Sigma Theta Tau International, Mu Upsilon Chapter.  She has authored and co-authored several articles and book chapters related to psychiatric nursing, performance improvement, and the culture of safety.  She has presented nationally winning several awards for excellence in research.  Dr. Paradiso is currently an Associate Professor teaching graduate nursing and leadership courses at the CUNY- School of Professional Studies where she is a Nursing Organizational Leadership Program Leader.  She also  is a consultant specializing in risk assessment and compliance to Joint Commission, Department of Health, CMS, and New York City and State psychiatric regulations.
