Professional Achievements:
Working with the NNJ AACN as a board of director has been very rewarding. I have had the opportunity to lecture on topics that are current in intensive care practice. I have attended conferences related to Magnet Designation and helped to apply EBP strategies at the bedside. As a member of the Atlantic Health Research Council and IRB I stay current on advancements in healthcare across the spectrum. Assisting in development and production of the 2016 Options in Critical Care Conference this year helped me to understand that each of us needs to be part of this amazing organization - and to chip in towards the betterment of our future - the future of nursing.Favorite Thing About My Profession:
