Professional Achievements:

Dori Shane RN, MSN is the Occupational Medicine clinical integration consultant at Group Health. She is also the President of the WA State Occupational Health Nursing Association. For 15 years, Jan Schumann RN led the development of nursing roles in Occupational Medicine at GH. She retired in July 2013. Jan mentored & coached Dori for two years. Dori is now coaching and responsible for nursing scope of practice and the patient experience for 12 clinics at Group Health. She has a passion for the roles & responsibilities of nursing. She enjoys life-long learning & recently graduated from Seattle Pacific University in nursing education. In her free-time, Dori is an amateur birder, you will often find her tending to her bird-friendly garden: feeding, identifying, & appreciating avian-life in the Northwest.
