Professional Achievements:

I am an Pediatric Emergency Nurse. I have been a nurse for almost 35 years. My 25 years of Pediatric Emergency Nursing has been exciting and challenging. As one of the "oldest" nurses, makes me a wise mentor, though getting slower, I have much to offer the younger nurses and they can run around to find me. I am an Instructor in BLS, PALS, ACLS, ENPC & TNCC. Teaching is my passion. I was recently nominated as the Secretary of DELCO ENA. My profile picture was taken just outside Nairobi, Kenya where I had the opportunity to teach 7 national and 7 missionary nurses, Pediatric Emergency Care for 2 days. I then traveled to an "upcountry" Ugandan University Hospital, where I taught MSN students and a PA for a day and then went to a mountaintop dispensary to teach yet more nationals pediatric nursing. THIS WAS SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I learned so much, while also imparting my years of experience on those who have little to no specific Pediatric Nursing Care education or updating. Education of nurses, at all levels, is my passion.
