Favorite Thing About My Profession:
Where do I start? I have loved every minute of my career as a professional RN! I have worked everything from LTC as a prelicensure student to currently in higher education as a Dean of a BSN Nursing Program. I love being with people, especailly children and older people. I sometimes miss my hospital/patient days when I got to know them so well but I look at my life now as developing nurses for the future and our precious people. I can greatly influence more emerging nurses than ever!
I am currently the President of the Arizona League for Nursing. It has been my pleasure and joy to be involved in this organization at the state and national levels and storngly support their mission of developing educators for excellence, diversity, care, and commitment. NLN is the Voice for Nursing Education. Please consider joining the AzLN to gain access for your own personal development.
