Professional Achievements:

40 years progressive managerial and administrative nursing roles in various settings including an academic trauma center, critical care flight program/flight nursing, EMS management, rural hospital; physician office management, and correctional health. Managed 7th largest county jail system in U.S. for over ten years. Awarded national recognition for Excellence in Executive Leadership from Nurse.com in 2016. Currently on the board for the Academy of Correctional Health Professionals; contract with NCCHC / NRI for various technical assistance projects; prior board position with the American Correctional Health Services Association; and invited appointment by the state of California Board of State and Community Corrections for the revision of California minimum jail standards.
