Professional Achievements:
I am the innovator for a novel bereavement intervention named the ECG Memento©. Evidence-based research carried out in 2015 showed that 86% of family members felt it brought comfort in the weeks after a loved one's death. I have seven scholarly journal citations, implemented the innovation in adult and pediatric ICU areas. I became a member of Sigma Theta Tau International; Iota Eta chapter in 2015. I have obtained the Master of Healthcare Innovation (MHI) degree from Arizona State University in May 2021.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:
Patient-centered family care, interdisciplinary teamwork, and precepting new nurses. I am frequently given assignments helping patients with diabetes and end-of-life care.
