Professional Achievements:
I worked for 21 years in various areas of hospital nursing: med-surg, orthopedics, pediatrics, outpatient surgery. I am a diabetes educator and train patients on insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors. I also teach diabetes classes. I've worked in school nursing for the last 15 years.Favorite Thing About My Profession:
Being able to teach the students about health related topics and getting to interact with them. Also being able to provide help to students and their families with vision certificates, healthcare referrals, etc. I love being an advocate for my students.Virtues:
