Great Basin members have supported the Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Walk since our beginning in 2009. Today, our members walk with their unit-based teams from their facilities. This year, while being part of your unit-based team, pledge to walk wearing your Great-Basin logo-wear and walk with a nursing student. Local schools of nursing have broadcast the Donor Walk event and encouraged student nurses interested in pursuing a career in critical care to walk alongside those in the profession.
