Each of the modules feature pharmacotherapeutic content that focuses on reviewing the general principles of pharmacology, including indications for use, drug interactions and common side effects of various drug and non-drug therapies. Proper monitoring of the therapeutic and adverse effects of drug therapy will also be discussed as well as appropriate treatment of these reactions.

Wendy L. Wright, DNP, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN, FNAP

Wendy received her DNP in 2019 from the University of Alabama. She is a 1992 graduate of the Adult Primary Care NP program at Simmons College and completed an FNP post-master’s program in 1995. Dr. Wright was inducted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (2005), in the American Academy of Nursing (2014), and in the National Academies of Practice (2017). Wendy is an ANP, FNP, and the owner of two, NP owned and operated clinics within New Hampshire, Wright & Associates Family Healthcare. Her family practices won numerous awards, including Top 20 Fastest Growing Family Business, and Top 20 Women-Owned Business. She was chosen as one of the Top Ten NPs in America in 2018. She is a Senior lecturer for Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, founder of the NH Chamber of Entrepreneurial NPs and owner of Partners in Healthcare Education. In addition to full-time clinical practice, she presents nationally, speaking at over 1000 conferences in 47 states.
