Domestic Violence/Strangulation Collaboration for Improved Outcomes

Topics will include the lethality and physiological effects of strangulation, as well as the medical evaluation and treatment necessary following these events. A detective will provide insights into investigating strangulation cases, and an attorney will review the legal framework, including the strangulation statute and strategies for prosecution.
