The Hill Country and South Texas Region of TAPAN encompasses a substantial portion of Texas. It encompasses the cities of San Antonio, Austin, Uvalde, Kerrville, Corpus Christi, Laredo, and the Valley, as well as all the areas in between. Our goal is to expand the number of members and increase their participation. This will enable us to continue the mission of TAPAN by providing progressive educational opportunities that promote the high standards in Perianesthesia nursing. We are eager to boost our organization’s involvement because our region will be hosting the TAPAN State Conference in 2026. This will require extensive planning and creativity to guarantee it’s a successful event. We are confident in our ability to make it happen with increased participants throughout our region!

We are organizing a meet and greet mixer on May 24th in San Antonio. The theme of the event is “90s Night,” with dinner, a photo booth, and a DJ playing hits from the 1990s. We hope to have a fun and memorable night, dancing the night away! We will also be awarding door prizes and collecting new pairs of socks to donate to a local charity. This event will provide an opportunity for us to meet other Perianesthesia nurses from across our region.

We encourage you to attend this event and invite your colleagues to join us. By registering for the event on the Nursing Network site, you have the option to purchase guest tickets for individuals without a Nursing Network account. This is a great way to involve a coworker or friend in the event. Guest tickets can also be purchased for your loved ones if you’d like to bring them, too!
