Join us for an educational presentation on human trafficking by Catherine Pedrosa, Director of Human Trafficking Prevention & Intervention, and Kelly Taha, Human Trafficking Project Specialist!

The event will be held at Community Memorial Hospital in the Nichols Auditorium located on the 8th floor Mountain Tower.

Learning Objectives:

Upon the completion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Define human trafficking.
  2. Understand indicators of commercial sex & labor trafficking in a
    healthcare setting.
  3. Respond to human trafficking in a healthcare setting.
  4. Identify steps on what to do if you encounter a suspected victim.

Only active VC-AACN members may register for this event. All licensed registrants will receive 2.0 CEs for attending this event. Please provide your RN license number so we can credit you your CE hours properly. Non-licensure nursing students will not receive CEs for this event, but are more than welcome to attend.
