This live clinical training is a provider-directed clinical skills program designed to promote the professional performance of the RN or APRN in the role as an adult/adolescent sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) or sexual assault forensic examiner (SAFE). The purpose is to prepare didactically trained SANE/SAFE nurses in the clinical aspects of the adult/adolescent sexual assault medical-forensic examination, regardless of the medical practice setting.
