Summer Networking Event for active and potential NIARN members

With the nice weather we wanted to plan an outdoor activity to help celebrate our Rehab Nurses.  Nurses Week this year is celebrating the “Power of Nurses” which emphasizes our unique talents that we bring to the rehabilitation field.  In recognition of our NIARN members we will hold a social networking event at the Morton Arboretum this June.  A continental breakfast and coffee will be provided while we begin our event.  A scavenger hunt will be organized for fun and prices with light hiking to follow.  To celebrate you, we will have a “Bloom of Raffle Prizes” for our attending members to celebrate your contribution to rehab.

The date for the event is Saturday, June 14th at the Morton Arboretum located at 4100 IL-53, Lisle, IL 60532.  The Arboretum is located a few minutes off I88 so it is easy to access for all of our members.  We will meet at 0900 at the Thornhill Shelter on the west side which will provide overhead shelter in case of rain.  Rain or shine, we plan on having a fun time. I will provide a map for those that register to attend.  It is recommended to reserve entry on-line ahead of time to the Morton Arboretum as tickets are $2.00 less when purchased in advance.  Please feel free to bring a buddy to attend.  Stay after the event to view the new Vivid Creatures display that is opening this month.
