Evolution of living donor liver transplantation and How to Expand Responsibly.
Dr. Juliet Emamaullee is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Immunology (Clinical Scholar) at USC and an attending liver and kidney transplant surgeon at Keck Hospital and Children's Hospital-Los Angeles. She is a surgeon-scientist with an NIH-funded translational immunobiology lab, exploring immunological phenotypes associated with liver transplant recipients.

Clinical/Cultural Principles & Administrative Management for Transfusion-Free Patient Care
Randy's background is in business development, physician relations and patient advocacy and has been at the forefront of implementing programs at several hospitals in Los Angeles County since 1996. He has also provided consultation for other hospitals in the U.S. and has been an associate member of the Society for the Advancement of Blood Management (SABM) since 2002. He is a member of the Transfusion Committee and Ethics Resource Committee at the Keck Medical Center of USC.

Director of the USC Head and Neck Center and the Watt Family Endowed
Chair in Head and Neck Cancer Research
Dr. Uttam K. Sinha is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in Head and Neck Surgery, known for his innovative contributions to clinical care, translational research, and global collaboration. As Director of the USC Head and Neck Center and the Watt Family Endowed Chair in Head and Neck Cancer Research, he leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing outcomes in cancer care, reconstruction, and rehabilitation. Dr. Sinha’s research spans head and neck cancer, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and functional restoration of speech and swallowing. His lab pioneers the use of nanotechnology and liquid biopsy to detect biomarkers in saliva and blood for early diagnosis of cancer, HPV, and other chronic diseases. His work also explores cancer immunology and epigenomic profiling to inform personalized therapies. Recognizing that dysphagia is a major quality-of-life issue for cancer survivors, Dr. Sinha and his team developed a novel platform called BION, which applies neuromuscular electrical stimulation to restore swallowing function. A strong advocate of collaborative science, Dr. Sinha has established strategic partnerships with institutions in India, Taiwan, South Korea, and England to accelerate innovation and impact. In support of survivorship and community health, he founded hncsupport.org—a comprehensive patient navigation and wellness platform that extends care beyond the clinic to empower survivors and their families.
