Keren Falkenstein
Keren Falkenstein BSN, RN, CNOR

I went into nursing as a second career after years of working as a technical creative in the entertainment industry. The things I love most about nursing are the autonomy and interpersonal aspects as well as how much I get to help others and affect change on every possible level. By the time I graduated nursing school, I knew I wanted to work in the OR. That dream came true and I became an OR nurse, which I absolutely love! I wanted the opportunity to bring this exciting field of nursing to others and help them enter this profession, which is why, after working as a clinical OR nurse for several years, I decided I wanted to be a perioperative educator. I am passionate about my profession and clinical standards, compassionate and ethical practice, and creating an environment of care that is safe and equitable for all.
