Speakers

Regional Medical Director
Murray Young, MD, graduated from Guadalajara Medical School and, as a Fifth Pathway student, matriculated from New York Medical College. He then completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Colorado and became Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). He began practicing Emergency Medicine in Wyoming as a partner in a regional practice, which they successfully sold to a hospital system. He then started his correctional medicine career in Rawlings, Wyoming in 2009 at the Wyoming State Penitentiary. He readily transitioned into leadership as a Site Medical Director and was subsequently promoted, serving as a Regional Medical Director for multiple states, including Idaho, Southern Arizona, and New Mexico. For the past seven years, he has worked with Centurion in various leadership capacities, including his current role as Regional Medical Officer.
