Additional Information
The SNRC Nursing Research Workshop & Conference is an interactive, two-day event centered around building and applying research skills, with a core theme of recognizing and quantifying nursing value through clinical inquiry.
Program Highlights
The Conference will feature a morning keynote and workshop sessions for participants to build EBP, QI and research skills. A highlight of the program is an innovative "Study In A Day" activity, where participants will use the tools of EBP, QI and research to conduct a complete clinical inquiry project in real time. Afternoons are devoted to project dissemination and discussion through poster and podium presentations selected from submitted abstracts. A vendor fair will allow participants to connect with industry partners and learn about the newest innovations for nursing practice and patient care.
Participants may attend both days of the event or choose one that fits their schedule. An Early Bird discount is available for general registration through February 6, 2026. Registration discounts are also available for presenters and students.
Location and Accessibility
The Sand Point Learning Center is located in North Seattle, near Seattle Children's and the University of Washington. On-site parking is extremely limited and will be prioritized for ADA, those with limited mobility and, if available, carpools. The venue is accessible by public transportation from Metro Bus 75, which also stops at three Light Rail stations (UW, University District and Northgate). RideShare (Uber, Lyft) from Light Rail stations is another option. The SNRC Planning Committee is working on setting up nearby off-site parking with shuttle service to SPLC for those who prefer to drive a personal vehicle.
Continuing education contact hours will be provided to those to attend one or both days.
