Dr. Basu is an internationally recognized physician for his research and considered a world expert in AKI among critically ill patients. He has published more than 120 peer-reviewed papers and articles and serves on the editorial board of multiple critical care and nephrology journals. He received his medical degree from Indiana University Medical school and is now a professor of pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in addition to being a top provider at Lurie Children’s Hospital downtown Chicago.
