Come join us for our December dinner meeting being sponsored by BD. This is an opportunity to meet and engage in an educational session as we look at a discussion on transitioning to external catheters for urine management.
This will also be our Holiday celebration. We will be in the spirit of the holidays with gifts, raffles and prizes. So wear holiday attire, holiday ugly sweater, or your scrubs. We want to celebrate you and the great work our GMAC members do day in and out.
In honor of the holidays we are collecting donations for M.U.J.E.R. Inc., we are collecting toys, baby items, and canned food.

Advanced Practice Nurse
Legna Castaneda is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Born in Cuba, she was raised in Miami since the young age of 5 and is fluent in both English & Spanish. She received her master’s degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. There, her strong passion for women’s health was undeniable. She focused her clinical training largely in this unique field and excelled. Miss Castaneda is certified as an In-Patient Obstetric Nurse, practicing in both Jackson Memorial Hospital and South Miami Hospital as a Labor & Delivery nurse for over 6 years. She is an active member of AWHONN, keeping up to date with the latest recommendations for women’s health and obstetrics to share with her patients and incorporate into her practice. She truly enjoys her role alongside her patients to ensure physical and mental well-being. Skilled in OB/GYN, women's health, hormone replacement therapy, functional medicine, as well as anti-aging treatments including but not limited to botox, and dermal fillers.
