Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will describe the role of surgical attire in reducing surgical site infections and maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room.
2. Participants will identify and explain the key components of surgical attire, including scrubs, head coverings, footwear, and personal items, and their importance in infection prevention.
3. Participants will summarize recent updates to the AORN Guideline for Surgical Attire (2020–2025) and the evidence supporting these recommendations.
4. Participants will develop strategies to apply the AORN surgical attire guidelines effectively in clinical practice to enhance patient safety and ensure compliance.
