Prep for CCRN/PCCN Review Conference Prep  

-1-day conference-September  18th 2026-  

-RM: 200 ALL is reserved.  

-Conference day is scheduled 9am-5:30 pm

-Speakers need to submit a resume to Serafin-Requirements include BSN and CCRN. 

-Speakers need to send slides by 9/5/26 to email out to registered attendees.  We will not be printing slides. *See previous conference abstract below* 

-Ask Sera-Do presenters get paid prep time? Is this possible?- *No 

-Use the newly released AACN Blueprint as prep for the presenters-

Next steps:  

Announce the conference at the Slice of NTI in April and begin advertising 

-Sign up is free for members. Include step by step for those who are new:

1. Sign up for conference on chapter portal on nursing network-Include link 

1. Option to get reimbursed with ONA contract funds for memberships: “Title of Program: American Association of Critical Care Nurses membership, AACN Willamette Valley Chapter membership”. Then follow the expense report instructions that are emailed later.  

Promote and advertise:  

-Elena/Jenna will make flyers in print and post around ICU’s and OHVI and email to Michelle  for MckWil.  

Promote on FB pages on ICU, OHVI.   

Promote on WVC nursing network.  

Create flyers for RB only which include information on getting reimbursed. Separate flyers  to send out to outside hospitals-Mck Wil, Bay Area, Salem, Medford, Mercy, Corvallis,  Albany, Florence. Lisa- will find out how to send them out.   

Signup- Cat-To oversee the signup and verify that those that are signing up are in fact  members.  

Food and drinks-Teffany/Elena: Provided with WVC funds-Likely around $800-$1000 for 50  people. Order via cafeteria in July.
