Alexa blends her extensive background in science with a passion for art to deliver impeccable results for her clients. Many find comfort in knowing that Alexa has expertise not only in injectables, but also in emergency medicine. Alexa is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner and one of the leading ladies of LexRx. She has clinical and research experience in plastic surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. While at MGH, Alexa trained alongside the Division Chief and Lead Nurse Practitioner. In addition to many professional and academic publications, Alexa was also the recipient of the Masters of Nursing Excellence Award at Regis College—an honor awarded to one candidate each year. Alexa has served as a Nurse Practitioner Fellow in the prestigious Emergency Medicine Fellowship Program (EMPED) through Brown Medical School. Following completion of her fellowship, Alexa began working in the Emergency Department at Massachusetts General Hospital. As co-founder of LexRx and Inject With Lex, Alexa was the Course Director for the nation’s first University-hosted, injectables training program. A Key Opinion Leader in the industry, Alexa is also Faculty for Galderma's GAIN Business division, educating practice owners from across the country. She has been an invited speaker at conferences such as the American MedSpa Association’s MedSpa Show, The Aesthetic Show, Innova@Tufts Conference, and the Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneurship Conference to name a few.
