The mission of the Shreveport Black Nurses Association (SBNA) is to provide a forum for nurses to determine the needs of minorities in the community and implement health promotion and prevention services.

The Shreveport District Association is comprised of members in the following parishes in Louisiana: Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, Desoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine, and Webster. The purposes of SDNA are to promote the purposes of ANA and improve the health standards and the availability of healthcare for all people to foster high standards of nursing and stimulate and promote the professional development of nurses.

Chartered in 1980, the South Bay Chapter is one of over 200 American Association of Critical Care Nurse Chapters. We support the needs of acute care nurses throughout the South San Francisco Bay Area. We welcome nurse and serve members working or residing in South Santa Clara County (Gilroy and Morgan Hill), Silicon Valley (including San José and Santa Clara), the East Bay and the Peninsula.
