Registered Nurse – PACU (Nights)

Location: Boston, MA

Pay: $2,800/week

Hours: 36 hours/week (Nights)

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced PACU RN to join a fast-paced surgical team in Boston, MA. This position is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a critical care environment and is committed to delivering high-quality post-anesthesia care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery.
• Assess vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and pain management interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other nurses to ensure seamless patient recovery.
• Educate patients and families on post-op care instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies.

Shift Info:

• Night Shifts
• 3x12-hour shifts/week
• Potential for overtime based on unit needs.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (or compact license with MA eligibility).
• Minimum 1 year PACU or critical care experience required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications (PALS a plus).
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
