A leading nonprofit services organization in Virginia is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team in Suffolk.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (alternating weekends)
• Hours: 11pm - 7:30 am (30min unpaid lunch)

The Licensed Practical Nurse will:

• Monitor consumer safety
• Implement and maintain Individual Service Plans
• Conduct ongoing physical and mental assessments
• Maintain accurate consumer records
• Assist with medication if needed
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of related work experience in a Mental Health program and/or Residential setting
• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program
• Current VA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or current unrestricted LPN from a Nurse Licensure Compact State
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Patient-oriented with great interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
