Position Description

  • The Registered Nurse I/RN I assumes principle responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all Emergency Department patients.
  • Additionally, the Registered Nurse I/ RN I initiates patient teaching and educates the family or significant other to attain optimal health.
  • The Registered Nurse I/ RN I uses effective verbal and written skills to communicate with people on all levels and maintains positive working relationships with patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
  • The Registered Nurse I/ RN I continues in a mentor relationship with a designated RN, and works toward independent practice and growth educationally in the Emergency Department.

Shift: Nights

Hours: 1900-0730

Schedule: 6 shifts per two week pay period. Some weekends required.

, $45.27 - $78.54 hourly **Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience,

  • California Registered Nurse/RN License
  • BLS/CPR
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • ACLS within three (3) months of hire
  • PALS within three (3) months of hire
  • MICN (after one year of employment as an RN)
  • ED Triage Course (after one year of employment as an RN)
  • AB-508 Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within six (6) months of hire

Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
