Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room

Location: Rochester, New York, 14642

Job Type: Contract | 3X12 Rotating

Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension

Pay Range: $2400 - $2467 Gross Weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care before, during, and after surgery
• Circulate and scrub for a wide variety of cases
• Support transplant, neuro, ortho, and trauma procedures
• Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center)
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and surgical teams
• Use cutting-edge technology, including DaVinci robotics

Qualifications:

• RN License: Active New York State license (required)
• Experience: Two (2) years Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred.
• Able to scrub and circulate
• Certification(s):

- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

-ACLS

• Preferred Surgical Experience:
• Specialty Cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive)
• Craniotomy
• Strong Ortho background
