Facility Overview: Valley Regional Hospital is a general medical and surgical 25-bed facility with a 24/7-staffed emergency department—the only such hospital in Sullivan County. Established in 1893 as Cottage Hospital, it has evolved to meet modern healthcare needs over more than 100 years of service to Claremont and surrounding towns.
Notable updates include private patient rooms, expanded emergency department, and improved services (last major renovation in 2010).

Position Information
- Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Shift Type: 12-hour Night Shifts (Weekend/Holiday coverage required every other weekend)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 07/14/2025
- Hourly Pay: $41.00 ($1,476.00 Weekly)
- Housing Stipend: $770.00 Weekly
- Meals and Incidentals: $476.00 Weekly
- Total Gross Pay: $2,722.00 Weekly
- Experience:
- 3+ years of PCU, Med/Surg, Telemetry experience required.
- Telemetry experience and basic dysrhythmia test required in profile.
- Previous travel experience and rural/small facility experience highly preferred.
- Certifications:
- ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) required.
- Licensure:
- NH or Compact RN license in-hand at submission.
- Facility will not pend licensure.
- Additional Notes:
- Traveler must have their own vehicle.
- Facility will not consider candidates who reside within 50 miles.
