Pride Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to support our client’s medical facility based in Penn Yan, New York. This is a contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Assess and collect data on residents’ physical and psychosocial conditions.
• Contribute to developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive care plans.
• Recommend and assist with revisions to care plans based on resident outcomes.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain safety, cost-efficiency, and high standards of care delivery.
• Participate in staff mentoring, training, and continued education.
• Follow infection control and occupational safety protocols, including exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Qualifications Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active LPN license in the state of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Over 1 year of experience

Additional Information:

• Location: Penn Yan, New York
• *Locals and travelers accepted*
• Job Type: Contract – 13 weeks *possible extension*
• Schedule: 5x8 evening – 02:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• Local Pay Range: $ 30.00 to 34.00 / Hour.
• Travel Pay Range: $ 1,200.00 to 1,520.00 weekly.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
