RN HOSPICE Full-Time Intake RN

The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a full-time RN (Monday to Friday) to work as part of our Hospice intake and provider relations team

Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p

What You Will Do

This position engages in activities that support the planning, coordination and implementation of patient care and census development under the direction of the intake/admission supervisor.

Responsibilities

• The RN will have the skills to perform hospice intake duties as well as education, provider relations and census building.
• Training provided in end of life care. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with a team (our teams intake and admission RNS, administrative assistance, medical directors with specialized expertise in end of life care, social workers, provider relations team).
  
  

What You Will Need

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
• Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred
• 1 year experience as an RN required-preferably in Hospice/Home Care or acute care. Previous Hospice experience preferred.
• Refined interpersonal and communication sklls
• Valid Driver's License and Reliable vehicle

Pay Range: $35.00-$47.75 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
