Position Description

Title: Clinic Nurse

Location: Venice, Florida

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

Compensation: Salary + annual bonus

Overview:

This is a DIRECT-HIRE opening with a new, innovative and fast growing healthcare organization that focuses on serving the senior population.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Center Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) has daily responsibility in direct patient care and education and fostering collaborative relationships with providers and other clinical operations staff. This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who enjoys performing daily patient care, has a passion for working with the senior community, and desires a day shift/Monday-Friday schedule.

Job Overview:

  • Responsible for adhering to the clinical team workflows.
  • Performs daily staff nursing activities; day-to-day patient activities, including phone and in-person patient triage and patient education.
  • Collaborates with the Providers and Center Manager to identify opportunities to improve clinical performance of back-office personnel and functions.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors the effectiveness of performance improvement activities.
  • Performs regular monitoring activities to ensure compliance with national and organizational standards of care.
  • Clinically prepares the market for internal and external quality audits and helps lead the center response to any clinical deficiencies found.
  • Maintains current knowledge of state regulations for nursing, medicine, and pharmacy as it relates to scope of practice for back-office personnel.
  • Identifies and provides appropriate resources to educate patients, their families and staff members on clinical conditions and processes.
  • Oversees clinical quality and patient safety through training and education of the back-office personnel and administrative staff.
  • Communicates effectively in all areas of practice, including how to motivate, and engage colleagues around a common goal.
  • Ensures that clinical processes, policies, and procedures are adhered to in the center.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors in Nursing
  • Nursing experience
  • Active RN License
