Description: Our client is currently seeking a Travel RN - Labor and Delivery in Colorado!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Develop and implement patient care plans while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, specimen collection)
• Advocate for patient health, safety, and rights
• Educate patients and families on health needs and evaluate effectiveness of teaching
• Provide relationship-based care that respects patient preferences and diversity
• Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel as per hospital policies
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred; nursing skills specific to specialty
• Education:
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Certifications:
• State RN License or RN License from a participating NLC state (Required)
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (Required)
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) Certification or AWHONN Certification (Required)
