Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Day Shift)

Location: Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Myers, FL Start Date: June 2, 2025 End Date: August 30, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts Scheduled Days: Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Job Overview

Registered Nurses in this role will work in the Operating Room at Gulf Coast Medical Center. Responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including orthopedics, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics. Must have robotic and ortho/neuro experience.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years required in the Operating Room Certifications: BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred Licensing: Must have active FL or compact license at submission EMR System: Epic Floating Requirement: Required; travelers are first to float and may be assigned to sister campuses Travel Experience: Prior travel experience required Education: Degree accreditation must be on profile or must have 5 years of experience

On-Call & Scheduling

On-Call Requirement: Yes Call Schedule:

• One shift per week after scheduled day (2-4 hours)
• One to two 12-hour weekend shifts per month
