A health services network in New York City is looking to add a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Medically Fragile team at one of their group homes in the Bronx.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Patient Population: Pediatrics in Foster Care

Responsibilities:

• Monitor each child's health and medical treatment
• Follow up with the medical provider and the foster and/or biological family
• Provide support, counseling and training to foster parents in health and medical needs of children
• Coordinate internal services with outside medical agencies
• Make monthly home visits as well as specialty clinic appointments
• Maintain and update all required files and records

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in an Acute, Sub-Acute, or Intensive Care role/setting
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Experience working with the Pediatric population
• Experience with visiting Nurse Services
