Pride Health is hiring a Med-Surg Registered Nurse to support our client’s medical facility based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to diverse Med/Surg and Telemetry patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, stroke, chest pain, GI issues, and post-op recovery.
• Perform clinical tasks including cardiac monitoring, IV starts, trach care, tube/drain management, and administration of medications and drips.
• Manage a patient load of 5–6 patients per shift.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including CNAs, charge nurses, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists.
• Float across multiple units and facilities as needed within the assigned region.
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule and cover 75% of holidays.
• Maintain documentation using Epic EMR and utilize equipment such as Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell for medication dispensing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months Med/Tele RN experience.
• Active RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficient in Epic EMR.
• Experience with Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Philips monitors.
• Must be willing to float to all listed facilities within the designated region.
• Must attend 2-day departmental orientation and system NEO.

Pay Range: $52.00/hour
